We are honored to offer the Florida Hometown Heroes Housing program that delivers affordable housing opportunities to our eligible first time homebuyers who are front line community workers. The first-time homebuyer requirement does not include veterans. Eligible full-time professions include:

•  Firefighters
•  Educators
•  Healthcare Professionals
•  Childcare Workers
•  Active Military
•  Veterans
•  Social Workers and more!

This is a short list of the eligible professions on the list. Please feel free to contact us to determine your eligibility. There are several ways this program delivers on the promise of affordable housing including:

1.  Down payment and closing cost assistance up to 5% of the loan amount, not to exceed $25,000.
2.  Lower interest rate.
3.  Lower closing costs.

The down payment and closing cost assistance is a 0%, non-amortizing, 30 year deferred second mortgage. You will be required to pay this back if you refinance or sell the property, however by then you should have gained equity in the property. Should you keep the property for 30 years the second mortgage will become due and payable at that time. There are income and purchase price limitations and this is only for the purchase of a primary residence. Conventional, FHA and VA options.
